A team to inspire a generation of girls, a brand to inspire the footballing world.

The FA have three core goals for the women’s and girl’s game by 2020; to double participation, double the fanbase and achieve consistent success on the world stage.

The #LIONESSES are the catalyst for all three of these objectives.

2.4m people tuned in to watch the #LIONESSES play live during the World Cup in 2015, with the hashtag trending globally as they played. A peak audience of 4 million tuned in to watch them at the UEFA Euros this summer.
